How is IONNYK different from a traditional Digital Photo Frame?
Unlike a traditional Digital Photo Frame, IONNYK uses innovative electronic paper instead of an LCD screen, creating the natural appearance of ink on paper with no backlight, no screen glow and exceptional viewing comfort. Combined with our patented Image Rendering Process, IONNYK transforms both curated photography and your own personal memories into timeless works of art.
How does electronic paper work?
Electronic paper is made of millions of microscopic ink capsules containing positively and negatively charged particles. By precisely controlling these particles, IONNYK recreates the natural appearance of ink on paper without emitting any light. The result is a viewing experience that’s remarkably close to a traditional fine art print, with no backlight, no screen glow and ultra-low power consumption.
Is there a visible power cable attached to the frame?
No. IONNYK is completely wireless. There are no visible power cables, no hidden wires and no need for a permanent power connection. Hang it wherever you like, just like a traditional framed photograph.
Thanks to electronic paper technology, IONNYK consumes almost no energy while displaying a photograph, providing up to one year of battery autonomy on a single charge.
One year battery autonomy? Really? What happens when the battery is empty?
Yes. Thanks to electronic paper technology, an IONNYK frame can operate for up to one year on a single charge, depending on usage. When it’s time to recharge, simply connect the included magnetic USB-C charging cable. You can check the battery level anytime in the IONNYK mobile app, and once fully charged, your frame is ready for up to another year of autonomy.
